Fundraisers
The Mountain Communities Volunteer Fire Department (MCVFD) relies heavily on fundraising events to support our daily operations and purchase much-needed equipment and supplies. We greatly appreciate your participation in our fundraisers.

Hot Dog Cook Outs
When the weather's nice on the weekends in the summertime, we like to bust out the grill and serve up some hot dogs, chips, and drinks in the parking lot at Station 42 in Westcreek. Grab a dog to go or pull up a chair and hang out with us for a while. Our goal is to feed residents and visitors while trying to fill up a fire boot with donations. We try to host cook outs on a regular basis in the summer and will give advance notice here and on our Facebook page.
Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast
Our biggest fundraising event is the annual MCVFD Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast at Station 42 in Westcreek, featuring fantastic breakfast, door prizes donated by generous partners, meet and greet with first responders, truck and station tours, a Smokey Bear appearance, a visit from our local emergency medical response helicopter, and fun for the whole family. The event is free to attend, however tax-deductible donations are accepted and appreciated.
Can’t Join Us?
If you’re unable to attend our fundraising events but still want to help, please consider donating to MCVFD. Thanks for your support!
